The key to successful Marathon(half or full) training is consistent "weekly mileage". Only this can get the body accustomed to running for a longer duration.
Beginners will start logging 15 to 25kms per week, in total, and gradually build to a peak of 40 to 55kms per week. To know more about the training plan, please reach out to us.
Aspiring Ultra Runners have to begin their training with a strong running foundation to sustain and endure Ultraruns for a longer time.
The training will be planned to make you feel comfortable in running over 30-35 kms, and eventually 60-80 kms for weeks, with no-injury. You should also be prepared to run upwards of 80-120 kms per week across five days of workouts.
It is important to build a very strong foundation for all three sports and the training plan will be accustomed as per the individual's core strength and efficiency in these three sports.
